What they say about us

We hosted two presentations at the Park Leopold Day in the Citizens' Garden (2021 and 2022). The Impro Brussels team was open to delve into topics that were impactful for the European Parliament in their show. It was great to watch how they took up even complicated societal matters in an entertaining and yet thoughtful way. They spontaneously reacted to the audience and made them part of their improvisations. The team is really engaged in what they are doing and like this invited to reflections that went beyond their amusing presentations.

Emilie and Pierpaolo led exercices in improvisation theatre during our company's strategy & team bulding day. After a half day of work-intensive discussions, we spent an afternoon playing improv games which Emilie and Pierpaolo carrefully selected to match our team's diversity in physical capacity, age, and role levels. Thanks to the professional and experienced, but fun and creative approach of the Impro Brussels teachers, our team felt much more energised, bonded, inspired and relaxed at the end of the day. We had a lot of fun and laughs together!

Our workshop with Impro Brussels greatly improved the trust, communication and camaraderie within our European Leadership team. Pierpaolo Buzza’s preparation and leadership of the training was perfectly aligned to the goals of our event. I’d recommend an Impro Brussels workshop as powerful development activity for any management team, especially where an on-site, physical event can support the relationship building of remote-working teams.

Our team building with Impro Brussels was surprisingly overachieved any expectations. After one year remote work and several changes within our team we have been quite disconnected from one another. Prior the session. the consultation with Pierpaolo helped me receive a customised season with identified areas to work on. After few hours online impro team building opened up the potential of the team to connect, increased the willingness to listen, to create together in a fun way. I always thought improvisation theatre is a magical tool for several aspects for life and now I only hope to do it in person. As my colleagues say as well.

We engaged with the ImproBusiness crew to build an experience aimed at building trust and camaraderie among our team members in a fun environment. And we got it all! ImproBusiness gently nudged us out of our comfort zones, teaching us to listen actively, respond authentically, and build upon each other’s ideas. The improv crash course ended up serving as a fantastic experience allowing us to reflect on and improve our collaboration and communication skills. From the moment we stepped into the session throughout the very end, we could feel creativity and good vibes unleashing in front of us. The feedback received across the board by all attendees was very positive on having this “weird at first sight” team building activity. Thank you, team ImproBusiness!

Pierpaolo, Roz and Selim put on a show at a Dancing Fox playshop (we never call them workshops!) that we ran with climate activists to sharpen their skills at working with uncertainty. The show was fantastic, the first live improv performance that some had seen, and fed a rich conversation that evening and next day. The show underscored for the group the value of learning the skills they’d seen so expertly, creatively, and comically used on stage - letting go, noticing more, and using everything - when campaigning in complex, uncertain, and dynamic times.
